Observation of the New Chodesh (Moon) 7th Month Sheva

The New Chodesh (Moon) has been confirmed to appear on the evening of 9/8/2021 (Roman Gregorian calendar) Because of weather in this region, we were not able to confirm the New Moon initially, however we did determine that the moon was about 3 to 7% illuminated on the evening of 9/9/2021, confirming that it was about 2 days old.
