The Need For A Redeemer
(Freed From The Curse!)
..........and no man shall buy you.
So am I saying that the descendants of slaves or the so called " black people" are really God's chosen people Israel? According to scripture, that's exactly what I am saying. Let's take a further look into this and how it fits into The Most High's plan of salvation for the world. During the harsh times of slavery, opportunities for freedom were few to none. In most cases, laws prohibited freedom for slaves, but eventually the Northern States of America allowed a slave to be set free if their freedom was purchased or in other words "redeemed". The slave's freedom had to either be purchased by his master, a third party, or in very rare cases the slave could pay for their freedom themselves. And though many people of other backgrounds and skin color showed acts of kindness and actually paid for the freedom of many slaves, as a collective however, Israel remained cursed with the bondage of oppression, and till this day has not been fully set free from their oppressors long after the abolition of slavery has passed. Consider the damage that was already done to "black people" during slavery, they were made illiterate and destroyed as a people. The Bible tells us in Hosea 4:6 that My people are destroyed…. for what, a lack of knowledge! Families were divided, as wives were forced to betray the honor of their husbands by laying with their slave masters, and children taken away from their mother and father, which cut off any chance of that child knowing where they came from or where his or her people originated, its no wonder black families struggle to stay together today. Not to long after slavery ended, Satan found another way to keep Israel "black people" down and the bottom line of their greed-filled oppressors intact, as the prison system began to rise and flourish. Laws were created to entrap black men so that the system could regain free labor and keep the "negro" in place. The prison system is even more prosperous today, as every 1 out of 3 black males have either been incarcerated or are sitting behind bars today for the profit of private owners and corporate shareholders. Consider also the rate of teenage pregnancy and fornication amongst black youth. Consider the murder rate in black communities, drug addiction, broken homes, an ineffective educational system, impoverished households and see how far a nation who was once the apple of God's eye, "the head" above all nations, rich and prosperous, is now a down trodden people, cursed and has hit rock bottom, "the tail". And yes there are some “black people” who are successful, and drive nice cars and have nice houses, but Israel is a people, and the prosperity of a very small minority can’t account for millions of the forgotten Israelites around the globe and here in the ghetto streets of the U.S. Besides, financial success doesn’t mean that one has been freed from the curse of bondage placed on Israel, because in some cases, not all, money has become their "god" and they are still cursed and separated from their Creator. These are the oppressed descendants of the curse, who were able to rise and overcome the impoverished conditions of the curse, while their counterparts still struggle to make ends meet, living pay check to paycheck, hand to mouth, or receiving government assistance from the ones who attributed to their economic and social status in the first place. But regardless of socioeconomic status, freedom from the oppression that so called "black people" were cursed with cannot be purchased with money, nor by the slave or the oppressed, because the price requires more than money, and with that said, who can save Israel (Black people) from the curse of bondage, oppression and destruction that they face? Who can pay for their freedom?
