Previously, we learned that the Hebrew children of Yisreal observed the Chodesh (moon) for New Moons, Shabbats and Holy Feast days, with that said, it was only logical for The Most High to use the Chodesh (moon) to signal His people regarding other significant events, such as His judgements in the “Last Days”. Great cosmic events are very rare, and the 4 blood moons of 2014, has to be one of rarest in centuries. With that said, why did The Most High signal us with 4 Blood Moons? Well, same thing I asked Him, and if I may, if you haven't already, so should you. Let’s first take a look at what the appearing of a blood moon means.

The blood moon occurs when the earth shadows the moon, which then causes the moon to enter phases of darkness for a short time. Once fully darkened, the moon then slowly turns red, appearing as if its covered with blood. The entire event is not only an amazing celestial experience, but bellows to all creation a visual dramatization of the Passover evening.

Time lapse of a Blood Moon event.

Think about it if you will, the night of Passover, when our Messiah was falsely accused, imprisoned, almost whipped to death like a slave, and then hung from a tree like one who’s been cursed. Covered in blood, and bleeding from His heart after being betrayed by those closest to Him, all for the salvation of His people; hence the Blood Moon, a sign and solemn reminder of when the Son of Yahuwah endured the darkness of Passover, and shed His blood to save us from the pending judgments to come in the earth as foretold by the prophet Joel.

'The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of our Elohim . And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of The Most High Yah Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As The Most High has said, Among the remnant whom He calls. Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of Yahushua is coming, it is at hand:' Joel 2:1,31-32

What makes the 4 blood moons of 2014-2015 especially peculiar, is that they all appeared on Holy Feast days, The Passover and Feast of Tabernacles. As previously mentioned, “The Passover” is a gathering to commemorate the Exodus and Redemption of The Most High’s people. “The Feast of Tabernacles“(Indwelling, Sukkot or Tents), is a time to celebrate The Most High gathering and dwelling amongst His people, and a time that I believe when one day, Yisrael will once again dwell with our King, and Messiah; who is also called Emmanuel, which means “Elohim dwells with us”. Again, this was no coincidence, but by design.

So, what is The Most High telling His people, in these last days? Well, for blood moons to appear not once, but 4 times all consequently and intentionally on Passover and Feast of Tabernacles, twice in the span of a year, naturally echoes and emphasizes the purpose and meanings of these solemn and great times of the year which are: Redemption, Restoration, and the Return of our King dwelling with His people, bless His wonderful Name!

The Most High does nothing arbitrarily and to have 4 blood moons, all appear on Holy Feast days, has to be a message to us, that should not be overlooked. To conclude on this observation, I want to leave you with this profound scripture from Exodus 6:6-8. As I believe that The Most High is reiterating to HIs people today:

'Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord ; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord .’ ” ' Exodus 6:6-8

Here we see in Exodus 6:6-8 4 promises to the children of Yisrael,

  • 1. I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

  • 2. I will rescue you with an outstretched arm and great judgements,

  • 3. I will take you as My people, and I will be your Elohim

  • 4.Then you will know that I am your Elohim, and will restore you to the land of your forefathers...

4 Blood Moons, 4 Holy Feast Days, and 4 Promises, as signaled to us back in 2014, in which The Feast of Trumpets of 2020, will mark the 6th Feast of Trumpets since The 4 Blood Moons appeared, something to think about. The Most High is moving in a powerful way in these last days regarding His people, Zion. So as always, stay prayerful, and stay encouraged! Shalom.
