One of the greatest gifts The Most High has given to mankind is the ability to communicate with Him through prayer. Long before wireless radio, cordless phones, and the smart phones we use today, The Most High gave us prayer to communicate our desires, needs, worries and praise to Him. In many ways, prayer is like the smartphones we use every day, and like wireless technology, we don’t always physically see how it works, but here are some likenesses that can help us better understand more about prayer.
Prayer needs to be charged up:
What does every smartphone need to work? Power, they need a battery or charger that connects to a power source. With prayer faith is what charges it. Scripture tells us that faith is the substance, or the tangible of things that we hope for, the evidence of things not seen.
'Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. ' Hebrews 11:1

So what is that saying to us? The Most High’s word is the historical and forthcoming proof of what we believe, faith is belief in The Most High by His word, and it is this substance that fuels our prayer to reach His Throne.
Prayer can be used anywhere at any time
Like a smartphone that’s properly charged, you can use it virtually anywhere. Our smart phones can be used to make calls over signals that are transmitted from tower to tower, and carried over by our “Phone Carrier” to the person or business, we are trying to reach. Some phones can use what’s called “wireless fidelity” or in short, “Wi-Fi” to make these same calls. We can’t see these signals transmitting, but they are there. Likewise, in prayer, The Spirit, or in Hebrew, “The Ruach”, is our “wireless fidelity” or "Wi-Fi" and is what connects us to The Most High, The Spirit brings us before the Throne of Grace, and is the "Carrier" who brings our petitions, and praise to The Most High, giving us unlimited access no matter where we are, or when we need Him. 'In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. ' Romans 8:26 It is this attribute of prayer that allows us to pray continually. Prayer needs an access code
These days, phones have to be protected from unauthorized users, so passcodes have been put in place by manufacturers to protect our devices. Likewise, prayer needs an access code that grants us the authority to use it. The Most High has given us that access code, and commands us to use it when we pray. Scripture tells us that when we ask, to ask in the name of His Son; which in Hebrew, is Yahushua, which means Yah is Salvation. 'Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever: ' Yochanan (John) 14:13-16 This is what gives us the authority as believers to access the Throne of The Most High and boldly make our request known to Him.

Prayer is the one of the most powerful tools given to mankind. Scripture tells us that in these last days, The Most High will pour out His Spirit on all men, and it is up to us to understand His word, keep our prayers charged up, pray without ceasing, and stay connected to AbbaYah, our Heavenly Father, bless His Name. '“It will happen afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days, I will pour out my Spirit. ' Joel 2:28-29
Shalom.
